“If you will be between 12 and 18 years old the summer 2012, IES have a suggestion for you”
The summer 2012 you will have the opportunity to explore U.S.A or U.K with the company of friends and teachers from IES in Sweden. You will explore historical places, nature, culture and most importantly having fun while learning new things.
The trip to U.S.A will last for two weeks and will cost from 26000kr. The trip will be held from mid June until the end of July. The journey will include a visit to the Niagara Falls, New York City, US Sherriff’s office and a chance to interact with the Amish community.
The trip to U.K will last one week and will cost from 13500kr. The trip will be held from late June until the end of July. The journey will include a workshop, performance with the Royal Shakespeare Company, trip to London and a visit to the Roman ruins.
We asked some students at our school what they thought about the Summer Camps 2012.
Tilly Olsson, 12, 6D, said “I think it is a really cool idea and even better for those who will be able to improve their English.” Frista Ali Karem, 13, 7C, said “It would be nice to go there because the campus seems really cool and the chance to go to America or England is amazing.”
Many students at IES Hässelby Strand seemed very excited for the Summer Camp, even teachers. SO teacher at IES Hässelby Strand, Ms. Legersjö, 28, from Sweden said “It sounds really fun, I would love to go and teach there.”
