Skiing, ice skating, or bowling…What’s your favorite?

The thing about the next Sports Day is that you can choose what of these three you want to do. It is not going to be any competition this time so it will be a sports day just for fun. If you are going to ski, which is kind of the head thing, you will be at Romme Alpin for 1 day.

"The winter sports day is only one day. Students going for the ski trip will leave school early morning and come back in the evening. Students who aren’t going to ski will have many other activities to do," said Mr. Remires, PE teacher at IES Hässelby Strand. He thinks it will happen the 13 February 2012.

There were quite a few who didn’t like the food last Sports Day, because it was cold. The principal of IES Hässelby Strand, Ms Schäfer, said, "It’s difficult to bring warm food because we were so far away from a kitchen and where I’m from children don’t get that much food, so I want the children at IES to be happy for what they get. But to the next Sports Day we may have some warm chocolate." She also said that they will try to find a sports stage where we can do high jump and some more to the sports day after the coming one.

"I wish we could have some other colors and new sports that we didn’t have on the first sports day," said  IES student Moa Fredriksson in class 6C, a winner of last Sports Day.
