On Monday the 22 of August the Internationella Engelska School in Hässelby Strand was opened. This school has shown us a great progress and we think that the students at IES like the school, but to be really sure we asked 50 students at IES what they really think about the school.
56% of those students think that the school is great, 32% think that the school is good, 14% think that the school is ok and just 2% think that the school is bad. Then we asked the students if IES is better then their last school and 88% of those said “IES is better than my last school” and 12% said “My last school was better”.

“I think the school is great. There is no fighting and you feel very safe. The food in IES is for the most part good but sometimes it is less good”. Said Kalle 10 years old from 5a

“I think IES is great because you speak English and everyone respects each other. One thing I want to change at IES is eating in Common Room. Why can’t we do that?” said Daniella 13 years old from 7b.

Then we interviewed Mr. Joyce and asked him what he thinks about our new school. ” I think that IES is more decent and disciplined than the last school I worked in. The students are more respectful and more relaxed and that’s good. The school food at IES is excellent and it is so much better than in the school I just worked in, so I just want to thank everyone who makes the food. Thank you! ”Said Mr. Joyce, our music teacher.
