Football field at IES Hässelby Strand

Football field at IES Hässelby. In autumn 2012 there will be a new football field at International English School Hässelby (IES Hässelby) in Stockholm, Sweden. Ms. Schäfer, Principal at IES Hässelby said ”The football field will be done in autumn 2012 and it will maybe take 4-5 weeks to build it and it will be next to the basketball court. The field will be made of artificial turf, which I think the kids will love.”

Ms. Schäfer also explained why the field is so necessary,” The field we are about to build is very important because the kids will be active during the breaks”. Jesper Carlsson, 12, in class 6A at IES Hässelby was very positive about the football field. ” It will be fun because I like to play football". Mr. Baxter, 32, PE teacher at IES Hässelby commented about the field. ” The football field will be great because it will make the kids stay active during the break which is very healthy. It will also affect our PE lessons. We can play games that we can’t play now”.
