By 6B Reporters: Knut Jansson, Sima Garmiani, Sara Ala-Edin, Ebba Lagerkvist, Yonatan Asefaw, Samuel Thörn

When we walk in to Junior Club we saw some girls who’re sitting with a puzzle, and some are playing air hockey. We sit down with Ms. Eggen she’s always on guard and when the interview starts she needs to interrupt because she need to solve a fight about the air hockey. When she sits down the interview continue. We ask what they´re doing, like which game they play, and she says they´re playing games, crafting, drawing, and play outside games.

I ask what she thinks about the rooms. “I thinks it´s good” she said with a little laugh after. “ And it´s great that the kids help decorate."

I ask what they have planned for next term and it´s seems like they have a lot on their minds.

They will have groups and different activities for term, and a reward system with movie days and popcorn. Apparently, they´re also planning something like the news blog. A Junior Club magazine. The leader of the production is Mercedes says that there will be a mixed magazine with interviews, jokes, embarrassing stuffs.

We also asked some students. The only thing they want to change is access to the hallway.

We finish of by going to Ms. Schäfer. “I´d like to have more space so the children can play. The only thing I want to change is that they should have more space and more things to play with”, says Ms. Schäfer, the principal of IES Hässelby Strand. She also likes that the children don´t need to be alone at home, that they can come to Junior Club and play instead.
